Maintenance Packages
Using specialised knowledge of the equipment and its maintenance requirements, MacDonald Johnston will sit down and develop a plan to maximise productivity and reliability and then develop an agreement with fixed costs that meets each customer’s needs.

Service Connections
This package is designed primarily to assist and work with customers’ in-house workshop staff. For a fixed monthly fee based on requirements, MacDonald Johnston will attend the customer’s depot on a weekly or fortnightly basis, check over, lubricate and report back on the equipment. Our experienced technicians can often help to determine equipment problems before they cause failure resulting in less unexpected downtime, longer component life and fewer repairs.
Major Component Connections
This package can be tailored to suit any MacDonald Johnston vehicle. For a fixed monthly fee, MacDonald Johnston will undertake the cost of rebuilding major components over the life of the vehicle. From bin lifters to paddles, hydrostatic transmissions or fan drives, anything can be tailored.
An example for a side loader may be:
Lifter Rebuild 8000 hours
Grab Rebuild 4000 hours
Paddle Replacement 8000 hours
Contract Connections
The complete package. Agreements can be entered into from two to ten years, tailored to each customer’s requirements and, for a fixed monthly fee, cover the full servicing, maintenance and replacement needs of all MacDonald Johnston front, rear and side loaders.
Training Connections
Should the customer decide to fully maintain the equipment in-house, MacDonald Johnston can conduct training sessions either on-site or at MacDonald Johnston premises. This ensures that the equipment is being maintained by fully trained personnel. Certificates are provided at the conclusion of these training sessions.
