Cycle Power Fund Raising Challenge
MacDonald Johnston Account Manager Warrick Grime, has been involved with Wheelchair Sports Victoria (WSV) for 18 years as his daughter (Alex) was born with Spina Bifida. WSV has provided Alex with a sense of achievement and belonging giving her opportunities most take for granted.
From the 16th to 30th July 2011, Warrick has personally committed himself to repay WSV for the support they have provided Alex and lots of other children with disabilities.
Warrick will be part of a small group of 20 people, both disabled and able bodied, to embark on an extensive fund raising and coaching trip called ‘CyclePower Vietnam’.
CyclePower Vietnam is a 14 day, 540km cycling challenge from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City.

Each of the 20 participants needs to raise $6000,00 to be a part of this special group!
The money raised will enable WSV in conjunction with the East Meets West Foundation (EMW), to deliver a ‘Sustainable Wheelchair Basketball Program’ in Vietnam.
The program will include:
• Coaching study trip to Australia for the EMW Program Co-ordinator
• 20 Basketball wheelchairs
• 1 coaches support session
• 1 "come and try" participant training session
• Appointment of Australian based coaching mentor
Every contribution, no matter how large or small, will make a difference to children without the opportunities we are blessed with.
