MacDonald Johnston - Major Sponsor of Charity Golf Event
MacDonald Johnston recently sponsored the Victorian Waste Management Association’s Charity Golf Day, held at the Long Island Country Club in Frankston, Victoria Australia.
The charity day supported the Sacred Heart Mission, who aims to erase homelessness by offering hearty daily lunches whilst also providing many with housing, accommodation and recreation facilities when needed.
There were sixty participants on the day from varying Waste Industry companies from around Victoria.
Prizes were given for first, second and third place, Closest to the Pin, Straightest Drive and the Longest Drive. The ‘Closest to the Pin’ competition encouraged participants to donate $1 per putt. A total of $364.35 was raised through the putting competition, of which all proceeds were donated to the Sacred Heart Mission.
As part of the sponsorship package, MacDonald Johnston were given the opportunity to display some of the Sweeper and Compactor product range including the recently launched UrBin Rear Loader and FORCE Front Loader.
The day was a great success; not only for the Sacred Heart Mission but for the whole Australian Waste Industry.
