Hook Lift

Designed for picking a load up from the ground and placing it onto a truck for transport
The MacDonald Johnston Hook Lift has been designed for fitting to rigid chassis trucks from single steer to twin steer. The mechanism is used for picking a load up from the ground onto the truck for transport. It can enable a load to be tipped or unloaded back onto the ground, all without the driver having to leave the cabin of the truck. Almost any type of load that needs to be transported can be made to suit this system, from open containers and compaction bodies to tray bodies, concrete agitators, skid mounted machinery, vacuum units, shipping containers and special purpose equipment for example fire fighting industry.

Features:
  • The Hook Lift has been designed and rated to be fitted to a fixed body truck with a G.V.M of up to 27,500kg and a minimum wheelbase of approximately 3.5m (truck dependant)

  • There are various models available designed to suit different lifting capacities, meaning there is a Hook Lift design suitable for  an individual’s specific requirements

  • The Hook Lift is rated to have a maximum capacity to pull on and tip a loaded container with a gross mass of approximately 20,000kg
